ABQ WEATHER OR NOT

Happy days are here again! Temps back in the 70s after that grim weekend cold and rain.

Introducing Our New Website

We decided we needed a facelift! And with Kris Kennedy joining our team as of January 1st, Q1 seemed like a good time to work on this project. Please come and explore: New Altus Website

There's a new look and a lot of new content. If you're interested in something to read, please visit

Click on the tab on the dashboard "Planning" or the icon "Useful Links" when you scroll down the Home Page, and you'll find information for Seniors, financial calculators, links to market commentary, local periodicals, etc.

You'll probably see details you recognize  -  you'll definitely see some familiar faces!

We're not 100% done, but we're close. And we hope you like our new logo - you'll b seeing more of that (and variations of it) in the future.

Ugh!

This is a PSA - having just rejoined the living after two weeks with and recovering from the Flu, I can tell you this:

It's the pits! And nothing to take lightly - so here are a few resources and stats, and I'll leave it to your good judgment as to how you use this information. My advice: Wash your hands and pay attention.

Summer Travel

Destination: Doylestown, Bucks County, PA

If the Liberty Bell, the Phillies, and cheesesteaks are on your agenda for summer vacation this year, don't overlook Philadelphia day trips.

You can jump on the Metroliner for The Big Apple, head east to Long Beach Island or southeast to Cape May, but my fave weekend spot when I lived in Philadelphia was exploring small towns in Bucks County, and Doylestown is a gem. It's about 30 miles from Center City Philadelphia, and has a population of about 9,000. Visit the Michener Art Museum (named for the Pulitzer-Prize winning novelist, James Michener),Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, the Farmers Market, the Mercer Museum, local brew pubs and The Kids Castle. And for day trips from Doylestown: check out New Hope and Lambertville

iWatch

Bookmarkthis website. It's always a good idea to keep on top of what's coming to the CCA - now that the weather's better and "braving La Bajada" isn't an issue, lunch or an early dinner in Santa Fe with a good movie at the CCA is a sweet weekend jaunt.
